Cycle rally to promote religious tourism

PANAUTI, July 23:A cycle rally has been organized to promote tourism to the district's religious and historical sites.

Panauti Bike Station organized the march, which began in Panauti and completed in Panauti via Dhulikhel-Bhattedanda-Kavre Bhanjyang Namobuddha.

The station's head, Bipin Shrestha, stated that the rally was organized by preparing a cycle path for the religious trek. He stated that the rally was organized to spread the word that the district's religious tourist attractions may be visited by cycle.

Binod Khatri, Ward Chairman of Panauti Municipality-5, stated that the rally will assist promote internal tourism of the district's key holy sites as well as the tourist destinations of Panauti, Dhulikhel, and Namobuddha.

The rally was inaugurated on Saturday by Panauti Municipality Chief Ram Sharan Bhandari and Deputy Chief Geeta Banjara. The rally drew about 200 individuals.
