Citizens Bank establishes learning centers in all provinces

KATHMANDU:Citizens Bank International Limited has established learning centers in all of its provincial office buildings. The bank has established learning centres in Biratnagar in Koshi province, Janakpur in Madhesh province, Kathmandu in Bagmati province, Pokhara in Gandaki province, Butwal in Lumbini province, Surkhet in Karnali province, and Dhangadhi in Sudurpaschim province.

The bank has built a learning center to teach personnel, run regional-level programs, and host other types of meetings and seminars. At this learning facility, 57 Koshi, 77 Madhesh, 80 Bagmati, 33 Gandaki, 56 Lumbini, 28 Karnali, and 34 Sudurpaschim residents would be able to engage in the program at the same time.

On Tuesday, Prabal Jung Pandey, chairman of the bank's board of directors, virtually inaugurated the learning centers during a ceremony at the bank's headquarters. Addressing the occasion, President Pandey expressed his opinion that the bank's learning center will make it easier to organize programs, and that the programs will assist staff develop their personalities and capacities.

On this occasion, 265 staffs were present, including the bank's CEO and top management, as well as the leaders of all provinces, clusters, and branches. On the day of the learning centers' opening, 130 staff were trained at all seven locations around the country: 23 in Koshi, 20 in Madhesh, 40 in Bagmati, 23 in Gandaki, 23 in Lumbini, 5 in Karnali, and 10 in Sudurpaschim.
