Third Manaslu SEE 3x3 Basketball Tournament completed

KATHMANDU:The "Third Manaslu SEE Cup Basketball Tournament" completed at Manaslu School-College in Nayabazar.

The tournament, which was set up for students who had passed SEE, participated 26 male and 14 female teams. Manaslu School team, the organizer, won first place on the male side, with Radiant School won in second. Similarly, on the female side, the J.S.A team won first place and the Thunder Strike team won second.

Bikky Syangbo of Manaslu on the male side and  Sarah Dangol of  J.S.A on the female side received the title of "Most Valuable Players (MVPs)  " in the event, which was held with great enthusiasm.

The first teams in the competition received Rs 15,000 in cash and a trophy, while the second placed teams received Rs 10,000 and a trophy. 

Speaking at the game's concluding ceremony, the college's CEO, Mr. Naresh Prasad Shrestha, stated that the top students in the basketball competition will receive scholarships if they are enrolled in class 11. 

Mr Narendra Thapa, the general secretary of the Nepal Basketball Association (NeBA), was the chief guest at the basketball tournament's concluding ceremony. 

Mr JB Dawadi, Executive Director of the college, Principal Mrs Suchita Shakya, Program Director Mr Kabiraj Angai, Program Coordinator Mr. Nabin Shakya, Secondary Level Coordinator and Head of Examination, Mr Navaraj Bhatt, and administrative officer Mr Suman Khanal all highlighted at the closing ceremony about the program's rationale.

The program was conducted under the coordination of Mr. Shailes Shrestha, the basketball coach.
