MP Rai suggests facilitating tourists visiting Sagarmatha region

KATHMANDU, June 06: Parliamentarian Maanbir Rai has suggested to facilitate tourists visiting Sagarmath region. 

"Tourists across the world come to visit Sagarmath region. But the only airport in Lukla is finding hard to bear the pressure of tourists.

The budget of the current fiscal year had failed to pay attention in expansion of Lukla airport," he said. 

Further activities should be carried out for the development of Sagarmatha region, Rai said speaking during special hour of today's meeting of the House of Representatives. He also drew government's attention in generating more power from Dudhkoshi river.  

Similarly, Rupa Soshi Chaudhary mentioned that they have not achieved goal in the process of formulating laws from parliament, laying emphasis that all should be involved being responsible in formulating laws. 

Likewise, Nisha Dangi suggested the government not to announce big projects without ensuring resources in the context when numerous projects are being announced despite limited budget.  

Anisha Nepali mentioned that though budget is allocated time and again to connect local roads with national highway, its implementation is delayed.
