Nepali Embassy in Beijing organized tourism promotion program in collaboration with HAN and NTB

KATHMANDU, June 06:The Nepali Embassy in China's capital, Beijing, has organized a tourism promotion program in partnership with the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and the Hotel Association Nepal (HAN).

On that occasion, Nepali Ambassador to China Bishnupukar Shrestha provided information on Nepal's important tourist spots and asked the tourism professionals present to encourage the Chinese community to visit Nepal. He stated that because tourism is Nepal's primary source of economic development, collaboration with Chinese businesspeople will be beneficial to the sector's growth.

According to the Nepali Embassy in Beijing, at the event on Monday, Binayak Shah,  President of HAN information Nepal's tourism industry and available facilities.

Santosh Pant, Director of NTB gave a presentation under the title 'Nepal Destination' focusing on Nepal's tourism potential and emphasized that there should be continuous contact between Nepalese and Chinese tourism professionals.

In that event, 15 Chinese mountaineers who climbed Mount Everest from Nepali soil were honored. More than 200 Nepalese and Chinese tourism professionals and representatives of the media participated, including representatives of the China Association of Travel Services.
