Agreement between Nimbus and KB Agro to share in poultry

KATHMANDU:KB Agro and Research Company, which operates the country's largest poultry processing industry and sells and distributes high-quality poultry products at Dhunibesi in Dhading, and the Nimbus Group, which also manufactures pellet feed under the Shakti brand, will collaborate on poultry product market management.

As a result, Nimbus managing director Anand Bagaria and Keshavraj Thapa, president of KB Agro, signed an agreement to purchase and sell shares at an event. Chairman Thapa of KB Agro also owns Nepal Pellet Feed and Januka Hatchery.

The agreement is anticipated to benefit not just the businessmen engaged, but also poultry producers and consumers. Under the agreement, quality fodder supply, meat and egg production, and market management will be carried out under the names 'Shakti Meat' for meat and 'Eat First' for other meals. Nimbus, which has a reputation for producing high-quality products, has joined the chicken market in partnership with KB Agro.

The statement was published by KB Agro following the two parties' collaboration to assure chicken production, the availability of excellent feed at a fair price, and the availability of high-quality poultry products on the market.

"The purpose of this is to reduce the production cost of chicken meat, eggs, and meat products, develop a system that provides maximum benefits to poultry farmers, arrange for easy feed supply to poultry farms, market products, and expand sales centers across the country," stated the statement. It has been stated that 'because the generated chicken goods are acquired transparently, it is believed that the farmers involved in the poultry farming company will directly benefit from this.'
