218 Vietnamese tourists arrived in Nepal via chartered flights

KATHMANDU, May 18: 218 Vietnamese tourists arrived in Nepal via chartered flights. Rupsey Holidays Pvt Ltd brought Vietnamese Buddhists devotees to Nepal on a chartered flight.

According to the company, as this is the first time so many Vietnamese Buddhists devotees have arrived in Nepal at the same time. The company had chartered a Himalayan Airlines plane for the tourists.

During the seven-night, eight-day journey, Vietnamese tourists will visit Buddhist monasteries and Chaitya in Kathmandu Valley and Halesi in Khotang.

They will spend six days meditating and learning about Buddhism at chaitya and monasteries. An overnight stay at Hallesi is planned.

Rupsey Holidays has taken Nepalis to Hanoi on charter flights for sightseeing. Rupsey Holidays Managing Director Ramesh Parajuli stated that chartered flights were arranged to satisfy the needs of tourists from both countries.
