Book release of 'Laxman Babu Shrestha, founder of cable car in Nepal'

KATHMANDU, May 11:A book about Laxman Babu Shrestha, the entrepreneur who introduced cable cars to Nepal, has been released. Senior politician Bishwobandhu Thapa published a book named'Laxmanbabu Shrestha, Creator of Cable Car in Nepal' on Friday.

Thapa, who is also Laxman Babu's teacher, remarked at the launch event, "Some people follow a clear path and reach their destination; Laxmanbabu was one of them." If you want to move forward, you have to work with a purpose, like him, and without lying.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Narayan kaji Shrestha stated that Laxman Babu was an inspiration to all. 

According to Jayaraj Acharya, a researcher, compiler, and writer, Laxman Babu successfully connected millions of devotees to the Mankamana temple in 2055.

Bivek Gautam, another researcher, compiler, and book author, described Laxman Babu as an encyclopedia of management.

Surya Prasad Shrestha, a former ambassador and classmate, said Laxman Babu made significant contributions to the introduction of technology in Nepal. "He introduced technology like cable cars during the crisis, such industries help the development of the country" , he stated.

Dhruba babu Shrestha, Laxman Babu's nephew, stated that he spent three years preparing the book. He had thinking, zeal, and courage from the moment he started his business. So it was possible to achieve all of this. He gave a lot to his country.

Rajesh Babu Shrestha, Laxmanbabu's younger son, stated that the book discusses his father's childhood, student days, professional responsibilities, and interviews. 

Daughter Roshana praised her father's humble behavior, saying, "I liked her father's habit of helping the needy and never giving up. The book will encourage many." 

The book about the late Laxman Babu was published by New Nepal Press. According to reports, the trust will use the proceeds from book sales to provide social services.
