Global IME Bank signs agreement with Aloi Private Limited to promote green green financing

KATHMANDU:Global IME Bank Limited and Aloi Pvt Ltd have signed a memorandum of agreement to promote green financing.

Under this collaboration, Global IME, a renowned financial institution committed to environmental responsibility, will provide funding for green ventures such as dairy, coffee, and electric vehicles. Aloi will be responsible for referring and connecting Global IME with prospective clients, as well as ensuring effective due diligence and needs assessments.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Ashim Karmacharya, Head of Green and Sustainable Banking at Global IME Bank, and Ms. Sonika Manandhar, Co-Founder and CTO of Aloi.

The bank believes that this partnership will help it provide and promote loans in the environmentally friendly sector. Global IME Bank is the country's first private-sector commercial bank, having branches in every district.

The bank operates over 1,100 service centers, which include 354 branch offices, 379 ATMs, 277 branchless banking services, 67 extension and revenue collection counters, and three international representative offices.

By making a bank for all, Global IME Bank is expanding by delivering excellent services to its more than 4.6 million customers through a plan that includes a various of services and facilities.

Similarly, the bank has made major contributions to the country's economy by receiving remittances from the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, India, Jordan, Hong Kong, and other nations.
