Global IME Bank organises student-targeted financial literacy program in all seven Provinces

KATHMANDU:During Global Money Week 2024, Global IME Bank held weekly financial awareness programs for students in all seven provinces.

In collaboration with its provincial offices, the bank has implemented a variety of financial literacy programs targeted at youth and students in all seven provinces.

The program includes topics on savings, loans, remittances, digital banking, insurance, investments, extra banking services, financial fraud, and financial discipline.

Similarly, the bank is hosting financial events across the country during Global Money Week 2024.

Over 14,000 farmers, micro, small, and medium-sized businesses, laborers, prospective foreign workers, students, women, remittance beneficiaries, and local youth have engaged in the different programs undertaken thus far.

In addition, Global IME Bank aims to promote financial literacy and digital banking through all of its 354 branches.

The bank operates over 1,100 service centers, which include 354 branch offices, 379 ATMs, 277 branchless banking services, 67 extension and revenue collection counters, and three international representative offices.
