CAAN to install X-ray and bird scaring devices at Ramechhap Airport

KATHMANDU, March 29:With the start of the tourism season, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) will install X-ray and bird-scaring devices at Ramechhap Airport.

Gyanendra Bhul, CAAN's information officer, stated that a new X-ray machine has been brought but has yet to be installed. Also, because the number of birds visiting the river near Ramechhap Airport is increasing, Bhul stated that they intend to install a bird scaring device to keep the birds away from the airport and have tendered for it.

He said, "After the bird scaring device arrives, we will connect it to Ramechhap and other airports." We also paid special attention to the airport's local security and workers. We maintained both technical and non-technical human resources.
