Global IME Bank organises financial literacy program through 111 branches

KATHMANDU:Global IME Bank has identified various target groups who are out of financial reach as part of the bank's corporate social responsibility and conducted a financial literacy program through 111 branch offices of the bank.

More than 14,000 farmers, micro, small, and medium-sized business owners, laborers, prospective foreign workers, students, women, remittance users, and local youth engaged in the bank's different program  across the country during Global Money Week 2024.

The bank aims to conduct financial literacy and digital banking promotion programs through all its 354 branches.

The program covers themes such as savings, credit, remittances, digital banking, insurance, investment, extra banking services, financial fraud, and financial discipline.

The bank has over 1,100 service centers, which include 354 branch offices, 379 ATMs, 277 branchless banking services, 67 extension and revenue collection counters, and three international representative offices.
