Prabhu Capital's 'Visit Merchant Bank' program students educates about financial sector

KATHMANDU:Prabhu Capital Limited completed the 'Visit Merchant Bank' event as part of the financial literacy initiative during Global Money Week 2024. This week is held all over the world to raise awareness about the need of financial education among young people.

Prabhu Capital has conducted a 'Visit Merchant Bank' program for students preparing for graduation at Kathmandu College of Management in Gwarko.

Mr. Durga Nanda Jha, Prabhu Capital Limited's Chief Investment Officer, served as the program trainer. This program taught students about merchant bank operations, working styles, capital markets, investment, and risk.

During the program, the lecturer described how a merchant bank operates. In addition to outlining the banking working style, he discussed the benefits and hazards of various capital market instruments.

On that occasion, it was also shown how to develop capital by integrating the money you have from a young age. Similarly, risk identification and management, capital allocation strategy, and other investment opportunities and obstacles were also discussed.

On this day, students received more information by visiting several departments in the capital.

Prabhu Capital has been holding numerous training, workshops, and awareness programs relating to shares and capital markets on a regular basis to raise awareness of share investment, the business stated.

Capital is also hosting a number of investment and risk management events this week.
