Government will make every effort to honor scholars' contributions:Tourism Minister Tamang

KATHMANDU, March 17:Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Hit Bahadur Tamang has said that the contribution of Shiromani Baburam Acharya to history is a lot.

He said that he has done important work such as writing the unwritten history of Nepal correctly, and said that the ministry will leave no stone unturned to appreciate the contribution of talented personalities of the nation like him. 

Speaking at the symposium on Baburam Acharya: Biography and Personality held at the Nepal Academy in collaboration with the Nepal Pragya Foundation and the History Shiromani Baburam Acharya Memorial Foundation, Shiromani himself. Acharya said that the ministry would cooperate if necessary while speaking about the naming of Mount Everest. He said that since he is a new minister, he is yet to understand many ministry matters and he has also said to be sure that the government will always show progress in honoring the heritage of Nepal's respected personality, Itihashishiromani Acharya. He said that the government must appreciate scholar Baburam Acharya. 

Minister Tamang, who was also the chief guest of the 137th birth anniversary program, inaugurated the program by garlanding the picture.
