Coca-Cola sets Guinness World Record for 'The Largest Momo Party' in Nepal

KATHMANDU, March 17:Coca-Cola has announced the historic milestone of setting a Guinness World Record for 'The Largest Momo Party' in Nepal (Coca-Cola Guinness World Record), which is an outstanding feat in terms of celebrating rich food, culture, and community spirit. Coke and Momo are undeniably popular in Nepal.

Coca-Cola created history on Friday, March 15, 2024, by setting a new Guinness World Record for 'The Largest Momo Party' as part of the second edition of 'Kathmandu is Cooking' at the Hyatt Regency Ground in Bouddha, Kathmandu.

Coca-Cola successfully hosted over 500 enthusiastic participants. Each participant received a wonderful selection of Two Momos together with a 250 ml bottle of Coke. To assure the greatest level of food safety and hygiene, a dedicated Food Hygiene Inspector and two witnesses were present during the event.

The festivities lasted more than 15 minutes, and participants enjoyed the delectable Momos alongside Coca-Cola beverages. This achievement underscores Coca-Cola's dedication to creating moments of joy and unity in the community.

Chandrika Kalia, Country Director for Coca-Cola in Nepal, expressed her pride in the company’s accomplishment, stating, “Nepalis truly love Coke and Momo and this fact has come alive through a Guinness World Record.
