Santosh Prasai appointed as CEO of Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance

KATHMANDU:Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance has appointed Santosh Prasai as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The company's board of directors met on Friday and resolved to appoint Prasai as CEO for four years. He formerly served as Senior Deputy Chief Executive Officer for the company.

Prasain, a chartered accountant, has previously worked as a CEO. He served as CEO for Nepal Life Insurance and Prabhu Life Insurance.

While he was CEO, Prabhu Life was amalgamated with Mahalaxmi Life Insurance. He was the Senior Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life, which was founded following the merger.

He began his career in insurance with the Nepal Insurance Authority (formerly the Insurance Committee).
