Chatur Tamang ascended Mount Elbrus for 145th time

KATHMANDU, Feb 24:Chatur Tamang, a mountaineer and guide, successfully climbed Mount Elbrus (5,642 meters) in Russia for the 145th time. He had previously successfully ascended Argentina's Mount Aconcagua.

He said that he had successfully climbed Mount Elbrus. He has worked as a guide on Mount Elbrus in Russia for a long time and has been climbing it since 2002. Tamang has set the objective of ascending Mount Elbrus 200 times.

So far, he has climbed Everest, Lhotse, Kanchenjunga, Cho Oyu, Manaslu, Amadablam, Baruntse, Iceland Peak, and Mera Peak, among others.
