IME Pay's new feature: a digital insurance feature called Smart Health-Surakshit Bhava

KATHMANDU:IME Pay, in collaboration with IGI Prudential Insurance, has launched a new insurance facility named Smart Health - Surakshit Bhava.

According to the company, this service, which is available through IME Pay, provides the insured individual and their family with the maximum level of financial protection under personal accident insurance in the event of an accidental injury or death.

The company stated that this service, which costs only 365 rupees, allows insurance claims of up to 230,000 rupees incurred during treatment to be received. In addition, the insured can take advantage of numerous savings on other healthcare services offered through the IME Pay app.

This personal accident insurance provides coverage for accidental death, permanent disability, total partial disability, loss of regular income, emergency medical bills, bereavement expenses, and funeral expenses.

According to Praveen Regmi, CEO of IME Pay, the scope of insurance can be expanded further through digital financial services, and this service will serve as a milestone in the process.
