Tourism Hero Awards 2024' to be held on March 19

KATHMANDU, Feb 14:The 'Tourism Hero Awards 2024' will be held for the first time in Nepal.

The Global Tourism Promotion Council, which promotes tourism through diverse sectors, will hold the Tourism Hero Awards 2024 for the first time in Nepal.

According to the Council, Tourism Hero Awards will be granted in 31 different categories to individuals and organizations who have helped promote tourism. Dhamendra Sapkota, chairman of the council, stated that the award was created to encourage individuals and organizations that work only to promote tourism.

The Council stated that the award trophy would be presented to the winners of this award during a magnificent ceremony on March 19 in Kathmandu.

More than 500 contestants are expected to compete across 31 categories, including 14 hotel categories and 17 additional tourism categories.

Anyone can submit a nomination for oneself or others, including complete details, by going to the Tourism Hero Awards 2024 official website, Tourismhero.org.

Among the nominations received, those with complete and official details will be shortlisted and eligible for voting. Voting will be facilitated by providing the necessary link to officials and the general public in order to fill the nominations.

The winner will be announced on March 19th, based on the juries final decision based on the public votes cast. The entire process will be online and free.
