Free high-speed internet and phone service at TIA customs area for all passengers

KATHMANDU, Jan 29:High-speed internet and phone service can be used in the customs area of Tribhuvan International Airport.

On Sunday, the Airport Customs Office and Nepal Telecom finalized an agreement that will make such services available to all travelers for free. According to the agreement, high-speed internet and free phone calls would be provided at the customs area.

The agreement states that any passenger may use free internet and phone service after revealing his name after a customs check.

According to Nepal Telecom, it is expected that passengers, tourists and all service users of Nepal who do not have a SIM card and do not have a phone will benefit from this.
