KATHMANDU, Jan 28:The 'Nepal International Tourism Expo' (NITE) will be held on May 31st and June 1st at Bhrikutimandap in the kathmandu.

It is said that this expo will be the first to be organized by the private sector.

Bishnu Pandey, the Summit Event & Market's founder, stated that the summit will hold a program aimed at promoting tourism while discussing with tourism professionals on Sunday.

The organizers hope that the expo will aid Nepal's sustainable tourism growth and cultural interaction.

The expo will have stalls from each of Nepal's seven provinces, as well as overseas stalls. Another founder, Shishir Khanal, stated that the expo at Bhrikutimandap will have more than 125 stalls. According to the organizer, stall have been booked by the neighboring countries of India and China as well as the Maldives, Malaysia, Bangladesh and Thailand.

According to Khanal, the tourism expo is the largest business-to-business event dedicated to the travel sector. On the first day of the expo, there will be discussions about tourism business and sustainable development, as well as 'Mice and Health Tourism'. On the second day, there will be a debate about "technologies and challenges that are emerging in the tourism sector."

Entrepreneurs are certain that the first international tourist expo project will boost Nepal's tourism industry by activating the private sector. Giving ideas to the expo organisers, the many associations concerned should collaborate to promote the expo, which will be conducted for the first time.
