Shikshya Bhattachan as Chairman of Prabhu Mahalaxmi Insurance

KATHMANDU:Shikshya Bhattachan has been appointed as the Chairman of Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Company.

The company's board of directors appointed her as chairman.

She worked as the managing director of the Prabhu Group. The company, which studied Business Administration and Computer Science, credits Prabhu Group with its successful expansion into foreign markets and varied industrial sectors.

Bhattachan holds various leadership roles within the organization, including Director at Prabhu Group Inc. in the United States, Prabhu Group Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, Nepal Shipping Lines Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, Nepal Shipping Lines Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia, Prabhu Shipping Lines in India, and Prabhu Holding Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia. Furthermore, she is the renowned CEO of Nepal Shipping Lines Pvt. Ltd. in Nepal and a Director of Cloud Mandap Pvt. Ltd.

She is the daughter of Devi Prakash Bhattachan, Chairman of the Prabhu Group.
