Mustang on list of top 52 destinations to visit in 2024

KATHMANDU, Jan 11:The New York Times has also included Nepal in the list of various countries of the world that must be visited in 2024.

The New York Times has made a list of 52 different places for 2024, in which Nepal is ranked 37th. The Mustang of Nepal is included in the list.

The New York Times mentioned that Mustang, which is an ancient Himalayan kingdom located in the northern region of Nepal, has preserved its rurality and Tibetan culture for centuries.
   
The New York Times has said that this area can be reached by using the 290 km road connecting this area from China or the Pokhara International Airport built.

Even the medieval fort of Lomanthang, which was off-limits to tourists until the 1990s, has seen an influx of tourism.

It is also mentioned that in this area you can observe Annapurna, Dhaulagiri mountain range, River and Glacier.

The New York Times reports that there are budget-friendly hotels in Mustang and that travelers to the area are now required to use licensed guides and porters.
