Pathibhara Area Development Committee instructes to remove 'sign board' of Pathibhara area
TAPLEJUNG, Jan 10:The'signboards' and 'banners' set up in the Pathibhara area of Taplejung, a well-known pilgrimage site, will be removed. The Pathibhara Area Development Committee has demanded that the banner be removed, citing concerns about the flora and natural beauty.
The committee has also issued a notice to remove the different signboards put along the trail leading to Pathibhara by January 29th. Prajin Hangbang, the committee's executive director, has issued a notice requesting that all parties involved remove the content within the stipulated time frame.
The notification states that signboards put carelessly along the Pathibhara walkway, together with iron spikes on the plants and trees, are destroying the natural beauty. Similarly, endangered and protected plants have been reported to be smashed with ferrous metal forks.
Hangbang, the committee's executive director, has also urged all parties to support the campaign initiated to preserve the natural beauty of the Pathibhara area and ensure a clean environment. The warning also states that if the information is not removed within the stipulated time frame, the committee will take the appropriate action.
