Karan Chaudhary unanimously elected to chair new NADA working committee

KATHMANDU:Karan Chaudhary was unanimously elected President of the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal at its 47th Annual General Meeting on January 5th in Kathmandu. Similarly, 17 members of the central working committee were unanimously elected by that general assembly.

On Sunday, the newly elected President Choudhary presided over the inaugural meeting of the NADA Central Working Committee, which unanimously elected the offices in accordance with the updated NADA Statutes 2071 and 2080.

The former president is Dhrub Thapa, the senior vice president is Akash Golchha, the institutional vice presidents are Pushkar Ojha and Tejnarayan Shah, and the other vice presidents are Rajan Babu Shrestha and Nirakar Shrestha.

Similarly, Surendra Kumar Upreti was elected general secretary. An election was held for the post of secretary. Bikram Singhania and Yamuna Shrestha were nominated for the post of secretary. Bikram Singhania was elected after defeating Yamuna Shrestha in the election held only for the post of secretary.

Milanbabu Malla was elected treasurer, while Pankaj Agarwal was named co-treasurer. Meanwhile, elected institutional members Sanjay Kumar Shrestha, Kul Bahadur Chhetri, Krishna Prasad Shrestha, Ganesh Prasad Bhattarai, and Bhadra Bhandari.

The general meeting elected Sunil Rizal, Prakash Kapuri, Kapil Sivakoti, Pradipman Pradhan, Yamuna Shrestha, Sanjay Kumar Khaitan, Navraj Bhushal, Riddhi Karki, Dipendra Kumar Mishra, and Saurabh Thapa to the Central Working Committee.

According to the NADA law, Chairman Chaudhary has nominated three people to serve on the working committee. The members to be nominated on Sunday are Meghraj Paudel, Nilamani Pathak, and Sohan Shrestha.
