Bagmati Province begin visit year 2024

KATHMANDU, Jan 02:The Bagmati Province Visit Year 2024 has begun. The province's Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Cooperatives announced on Monday at a news conference in Hetaunda that the tourism year has begun with the inauguration of 2024.

On the 9th November, the Council of Ministers resolved to mark the visit year 2024. Accordingly, it is said that Bagmati Province will be celebrating the year 2024 from Monday.

According to the ministry, Bagmati province is going to be celebrated as the Year of Tourism 2024 with the aim of bringing in more tourists and helping to bring prosperity to the country.

According to Uttam Chapagai, the Ministry's spokesperson, public bodies and officials directly and indirectly connected with the tourism sector, private sector businessmen, various associations active in the tourism sector, civil society, the media world, and other stakeholders will all play an important role in making Bagmati Province a grand success in 2024.

The tourism year project aims to increase tourism activities in Bagmati Province by identifying, protecting, promoting, and promoting the province's existing tourist spots and potentials, which have a diversity of cultural heritage, picturesque natural scenery, and historical significance, and by doing so, increasing tourist traffic in Bagmati Province's tourist spots and making the economy dynamic. Bagmati province's secretary of culture, tourism, and cooperatives, Govinda Rijal, stated.

According to the ministry, there is a strategy in the tourism year program to increase all such tourist places with the goal of increasing internal and external tourists in the tourist destinations in all 13 districts of the province.

According to Pukar Marhajan, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Cooperatives, the tourism year will be celebrated in order to strengthen the tourism industry.

According to the Ministry, the Bagmati Province Government has established the Bagmati Province Visit Year 2024 with the goal of expanding tourist traffic in Bagmati Province's tourist destinations and making the economy more dynamic. According to the ministry, approximately 2 crore rupees will be spent on this.
