Bhaktapur Municipality to host Heritage Walk in Bhaktapur on Yomari Punhi Day

BHAKTAPUR, Dec 25:On the occasion of Yomari Punhi, the Bhaktapur Municipality will host a heritage walk on December 14th. With the campaign 'Know the Baha and bahi, protect the history,' a historical walk will be performed with the aim of viewing the Baha and bahis in various areas of the city.

Sunil Prajapati, the chief of the Bhaktapur municipality, expressed his belief that all of the residents would actively participate in the walk during the walk. He stated that the history walk was planned with the goal of identifying Bhaktapur's past, offering those who are studying and researching it an opportunity, and documenting the status of Baha and bahi distributed around the city to teach the next generation. He assured that the municipality would continue to prioritize the preservation of Bhaktapur's endangered art and culture.

All Baha, Bahi, and Bihar representatives present in Bhaktapur praised the padayatra program and pledged complete support. The heritage walk, which will take place on December 26th, will begin in Bhaktapur municipality-5, Toumadhi and end at Ward No 7 or Golmadhi. The walk will begin at 10:00 am
