Govt effortful to Nepal's airspace removed from EU blacklist : PM Dahal
KATHMANDU, Dec 12:Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal "Prachanda" has stated that the government is determined to organize Nepal's air safety systematic.
Following an understanding of the memorandum provided by the delegation led by the Acting Chairperson of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Dol Prasad Aryal, in Baluwatar, Prime Minister Dahal stated that the government was effortful to remove Nepal's airspace from the European Union's blacklist.
The delegation called Prime Minister Dahal's attention to the fact that the European Union has not removed Nepal's airspace from the blacklist, that the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) should be serious, and that the new plane acquisition case should be transparent.
In a conversation with the delegation, Prime Minister Dahal stated that he is continually working to remove Nepal's airspace off the blacklist, and that additional reforms will establish an environment of confidence in order to do so. "I have discussed this matter with the European Union representative," he stated. I've discussed it with officials from Nepal's Ministry of Culture, Tourism, Civil Aviation, and Civil Aviation Authority multiple times. Air safety is becoming a challenge for us, and it may create concerns about Nepal's image in the worldwide community. So I'm taking it seriously."
Prime Minister Dahal stated that while there has been some progress in flight safety this time, he believes that it is insufficient to take him off the blacklist. "Our reform was insufficient," he stated. It is clear that more work has to be done to improve the situation. Your suggestions are valuable. Efforts will be made to reach a result-oriented result after further discussion with the regulatory authority."
