Thai Airways plans to expand to two daily flights in Nepal

KATHMANDU, Dec 14:Thai Airways plans to increase its service in Nepal within a month and a half of beginning flights. Thai Airways, which has staged a 'comeback' after three years, plans to increase operations in Nepal over the next month and a half.

Society International, Thai Airways' official general sales agent in Nepal, has asked the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) for permission to increase the number of flights.

Gyanendra Bhul, CAAN's information officer, stated that there was a proposal to operate two flights every day.

"Thai Airways has submitted a proposal to start two daily flights on Friday," Bhul said, adding, "We are still studying." The permission has not yet been granted.

This company currently operates one flight every day. The company, which previously operated widebody aircraft until Covid-19, is now operating narrowbody series aircraft. Due to customer demand, Society International has announced that it would increase the number of flights.
