Barahi Jungle Lodge received Most Inspirational Eco Lodge' Award 2023

KATHMANDU, Dec 14:The 'Most Inspirational Eco Lodge' award for 2023 was given to Chitwan's Barahi Jungle Lodge. Barahi Jungle Lodge operated in Chitwan with the investment of Barahi Group has been given the award under TOFTigers Wildlife Tourism Awards.

TOFTigers founders Julian Mathews and Vishal Singh gave the award to Prakash Chand, the lodge's general manager. The John Wakefield Memorial Award has been granted to Chitwan's Barahi Jungle Lodge as the 'Most Inspirational Eco Lodge' in 2023.
 
TOFTigers Award is an award program founded in India in 2010. Every year, this award is granted to companies that contribute to the tourism sector of various countries for their major contribution to the tourism sector's long-term development.

Barahi Jungle Lodge has been regularly accredited under the Outstanding Practice category since its inception in 2012. Barahi was recently accredited as an ISO-14001 lodge with international-level Environmental Management Systems (EMS).

Visitors to the 12-hectare lodge can see the with Aquatic animal in the Rapti River as well as animals and birds from the Chitwan National Park, including deer, rhinoceros, and elephants.
