NTB organized workshop to develop tourist strategy at local level

JANAKPURDHAM, Dec 13:The Nepal Tourism Board has conducted a workshop on tourism strategy formulation in Janakpur with the support of the United Nations Development Program.

The NTB held a workshop to help local governments build their capability. The workshop, according to NTB acting manager Dharma Dawadi, instructed municipal staff in the branding strategy and promotion of the tourism attraction.

The tourism and planning branch staff of 20 municipalities attended the workshop, including Thori Rural Municipality of Parsa, Tirhut Rural Municipality of Saptari Kankalini Municipality of Hanumannagar, Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan municipality of Dhanusha and Mithila Municipality, Chandranagar Rural Municipality of Sarlahi.
