Trekking guide training starts in Panchpokhari

KATHMANDU, Dec 08:Trekking guide training started on Wednesday, December 6th, in Panchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality. The training was co-organized by the Municipality and the Sustainable Tourism for Livelihood Recovery Project (STLRP). Ngimachiring Tamang, Chairman of Ward No. 3 and Chairman of Tourism Board Branch, launched the training program.

Speaking at the program, Chief Guest Municipality President Tashi Lama stated that such programs will benefit Panchpokhari's overall tourism development and make the trainees who participated in the self-training more capable.

Similarly, the municipality's chief administrative officer, Laxman Kuikel, stated that such programs should be held on a regular basis to teach skills to the municipality's residents.

The program will run from December 6th to December 20th. This training will involve 15 people. The training is taught by Himal Pandit and Anish Dahal.
