Digital Marketing Training for Tourism Entrepreneurs

KATHMANDU, Dec 08:The Nepal Tourism Board and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in collaboration with the Sustainable Tourism for Livelihood Recovery Project (STLRP) and the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) completed a five-day digital capacity building training for entrepreneurs.

According to Shradha Shrestha, manager of the Nepal Tourism Board and National Project Coordinator  of the STLRP project, this training was organized to strengthen businessmen's capacity in the event that digitization becomes a mandatory requirement for tourism.

Similarly, NATTA Secretary Yubika Bhandari stated that NATTA is collaborating with STLRP to conduct various types of training across the country.

Dharam Dawadi, the project's livelihood expert, stated that training was conducted in all seven provinces in collaboration with NATTA based on the needs of businessmen in the context of the project working on the production of manpower in various sectors of the tourism sector.
