GORKHA, Dec 07:The Gorkha Palace Museum, known for its study of Gorkha history, has recently become a popular destination for educational tours. "Gorkha is the main choice of students for educational visits, and once they come to Gorkha, there is hardly anyone who returns without visiting the historical museum," he pointed out. "Nowadays, the number of students coming to the museum is high."

Along with the history of the then Gorkha state, you can see archaeological artifacts that reflect culture, traditions, and customs in the museum. "In the museum, arrangements have been made to view the historical items related to Prithvi Narayan Shah, most of the students come to visit the Gorkha Museum to study the history of Gorkha state and Prithvi Narayan Shah" , said the head of the institution.

He stated that students come to the Gorkha Museum to learn about the history of the Gorkha state at the time of Nepal's unification. "Students from schools in most districts come to the Gorkha Museum for educational visits" , according to the head of the department, "it can be understood that the museum is the main choice for educational visits."

The months of October to January are generally considered suitable for educational visits. He stated that because the Gorkha Museum, also known as the Lower Palace, is built in an architectural style with a traditional identity, tourists on educational tours enjoy visiting it.

In the museum, Prithvi Narayan Shah's 52 cubit oil painting room in the museum, a genealogy room, a birth chart room, a divya upadesh room, a weapons room, a religious traditional room, a tribal tableau room, an introductory room, a pottery room, an audiovisual room, a Chaitya room, and a handwriting room.
