International chain 'Holiday Inn Express Kathmandu' hotel in operation

KATHMANDU, Nov 09:The international chain hotel "Holiday Inn Express Kathmandu" is now operational in Tangal.

Sudan Kirati, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, officially inaugurated the new hotel on Thursday.

With a 2 billion  investment, the hotel features 110 rooms,  two banquet halls and two restaurants. The hotel has started service with 50 employees. IHG Group manages the hotel.

The hotel has been invested in by businessmen Naresh Lal Shrestha, Maheshwar Shrestha and Sujit Shrestha.

According to Naresh Lal Shrestha, it will begin accepting reservations on December 1. According to the hotel, it is suitable for both Nepali and foreign tourists.

IHG operates more than 6,000 hotels in 110 different nations.

Hotels have been built in two ropanis of the total area of four ropanis. The second phase of infrastructural work will be done soon.
