Pokhara High Court issues interim order to allow 24-hour business at lakeside

POKAHAR, Nov 08:The High Court of Pokhara has issued an interim order to open a 24-hour business in Lakeside, the tourist hub in Pokhara.

The single bench of Acting Chief Judge Rajan Prasad Bhattarai, upholding the writ petition filed by Devikumari Baral, ordered that the lakeside be open around the clock.

The home administration reform action plan states that required security provisions would be established to maintain markets open 24 hours a day in tourist locations such as Thamel, Durbar Marg, and Pokhara's Lakeside. It means not stopping doing business until it is against the law, according to the same action plan.

Furthermore, the court has ordered the government to provide a response on this matter.
