Tourism ministry forms recommendation committee to implement the Nepal Airlines reform report

KATHMANDU, Nov 08:The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation formed a committee to implement the recommendations provided to improve Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC).

According to the ministry, that it has formed a suggestion committee to implement the report of the structural and managerial management committee of the NAC.

A committee has been formed under the coordination of Kul Bahadur Limbu, former general manager of the NAC, to implement the report prepared under the coordination of the former vice-chairman of the National Planning Commission, Dipendra Bahadur Chhetri.

Members of the committee include media person Tikaram Rai, the joint secretary representing the ministry on the NAC's board of directors, and the departmental head of the NAC's administration division.

The committee, which has a Chhetri coordinator, took 5 months to submit a report for the NAC change.

The committee proposed using The Soaltee Kathmandu Hotel's shares to boost its market presence by purchasing a plane and mobilizing resources.

The report also includes several suggestions for enhancing management.
