CAAN suspends license of two pilots
KATHMANDU, Nov 03:Two pilots' licenses have been suspended by Nepal's Civil Aviation Authority (CAN).
Two Tara Air pilots, Senior Captain Santosh Shah and Captain Sanjeev Shrestha, had their licenses suspended after an incident at Ramechhap's Manthali Airport this morning, according to CAN spokesperson and deputy director general Jagannath Niraula.
"Due to violations of national security norms, the licenses of two senior captains have been suspended until further notice."
"After a thorough investigation, the license may be revoked or other punitive action may be taken as per the rules," he stated. The cause of the dispute between the two pilots from the same company remains unknown, according to CAAN.
