Tourists' interest in HAN's Dashain cuisines festival is increasing
KATHMANDU, Oct 19:Tourists' enthusiasm has grown for the Dashain cuisines Utsav, which is organized by Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) through its member hotels. The hotels that hosted the festival reported an increase in bookings as well.
Among the member hotels that participated in the festival were Hotel Kingsberry and Mechi Crown in Jhapa, Tiger Palace in Bhairahawa, Dreamland Gold Resort in Manigram, Dream International Hotel in Butwal, Jungle Safari Lodge in Chitwan, Hotel Barahi in Pokhara, and Airport Hotel in Kathmandu, as well as Aloft Kathmandu Thamel Hotel, Dwarika Hotel, and Nepali Ghar. According to the HAN, there was good participation and bookings over the public holiday period that begins after Phulpati have also increased.
Hotels have offered travelers considerable discounts on unique non-vegetarian delicacies eaten during Dashain.
The initiative, which will conducted for 15 days from Ghatasthapana to Kojagrat Purnima on November 11th, aims to promote ethnic food among tourists while also boosting excitement to the Dashain festival, according to the HAN.
According to reports, the World Conference of Non-Resident Nepalis held in Kathmandu drew a large number of attendees from around the world, as well as foreigners working in foreign missions, corporate clients, and domestic visitors.
