Tourism entrepreneur Shah received the Asian Professional Outstanding Hospitality Award

KATHMANDU, Oct 16:Abhishek Bikram Shah, a tourism entrepreneur, has received the Outstanding Hospitality Award. For his excellent contribution to the profession, businessman Shah received the excellent Hospitality Award from the Asian Professional Achievement Award.

In a special program arranged by Season Media, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda gave the award to Shah, director of West Resort. Shah, a well-known figure in Nepal's hotel business, has received this honor in recognition of his excellent contributions to the industry. Shah has over two decades of expertise in the tourist business and is well-known for his dedication and exceptional leadership. Shah holds a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel/Motel Administration/Management.

He began his professional career at Soaltee Hotel and has since worked at Hyatt Regency and Summit Group Hotel and Resort. Having spent more than two decades in the tourism industry, Shah worked for seven years as the General Manager of Kathmandu's leading tourist destination, Chandragiri Hills Limited, where he left his successful mark. Under his visionary leadership, Chandragiri Hills has elevated its position in the tourism landscape of Nepal and has become a prestigious destination for domestic and foreign tourists.

Shah, who has made significant contributions to the tourism industry, was awarded the prestigious "Youngest General Manager of the Year" award by the Tourism Development Corporation of India in 2019. Furthermore, he was received international recognition with a certificate from the World Book of Records, London, in recognition of his great contribution to the tourist and hospitality industries. Similarly, the Government of Nepal awarded Shah the Prabal Jan Seva Shri Medal in recognition of his exceptional service to the country.
