HAN will served ethnic cuisine to foreign visitors on Dashain

KATHMANDU, Oct 13:During Dashain, the Hotel Association Nepal will promote ethnic Nepali cuisines by retaining ethnic food items eaten in Nepal on the hotel restaurant menu.

As some of the restaurants are not fully operational during the Dashain holidays, the hotel members of the Hotel Association Nepal have informed that the hotels will provide home-cooked meals to foreign guests visiting Nepal with a special discount. The program will run from Ghatasthapana on October 15 to Kojagrat Purnima on October 28.

The initiative intends to create Nepal an outstanding experience for international tourists by introducing them to ethnic Nepalese cuisine, as tourists are particularly interested in ethnic local cuisine while traveling.

In this special program of Hotel Association Nepal, member hotels from all over the country, particularly Hotel Kingsberry and Mechi Crown in Jhapa, Tiger Palace in Bhairahawa, Dreamland Gold Resort in Manigram, Dream International Hotel in Butwal, and Airport Hotel, Aloft Kathmandu Thamel Hotel, Dwarika Hotel, and Nepali Ghar in Kathmandu, will serve delicious local ethnic dishes cooked in Nepali households to their customers on Dasain.

According to the Hotel Association Nepal, this program will include more member hotels from various regions.
