Summit Air resumes flights from Dhangadhi to Bajhang, Bajura and Achham

KATHMANDU, Oct 06:Flights from Dhangadhi to the hilly districts of the Far West have returned after being suspended for five months. Summit Air, which had not flown to Bajhang, Bajura, or Achham since March/April of this year, resumed regular service on Thursday.

Kishor Khadka, the head of Summit Air's Far West, announced that regular flights began on Thursday. According to him, all three districts will now have regular flights two days a week. Every Monday and Thursday, Khadka stated, there will be flights to Bajhang, Bajura, and Achham.

Summit Air has stated that the Dhangadhi-Bajhang fare has been fixed at Rs 7,000. The rental rate of Bajura has been fixed at 7,500 and the rental rate of Acham has been fixed at 5,000. Summit Air has said that the flight duration from Dhangadhi to Bajhang will be 22 minutes, Achham 17 minutes, and Bajura 28 minutes.
