Ramaroshan attracts visitors from 46 nations
ACHHAM, Sep 29:Ramaroshan, a tourist attraction in Achham, is crowded with visitors from 46 different nations. They arrived as part of a group named World Rainbow Family. These tourists have congregated here for three months to visit Ramaroshan.
On the occasion of World Tourism Day, these tourists also took part in Deuda and cultural programs arranged by the Tourism Sector Development Committee. Man Bahadur Saud, President of the Rural Municipality, stated that the rural municipality welcomes visitors to Ramaroshan. He said that with the presence of tourists, interest in Rama Roshan has grown.
He stated that travelers are allowed to visit Ramaroshan under certain conditions. Foreign tourists who have visited Ramaroshan have set up camp in the open square.
According to legend, the area was named Ramaroshan after two brothers named Rame and Roshan. Some believe it was named Ramaroshan because Shiva-Parvati dwelt nearby. Ramaroshan Lake, also known as 'Bahr Bund, Athar Khand', is a tourist lake in Ramaroshan Rural Municipality-6. Bahar Bund refers to the 12 lakes in this area, while Athar Khand refers to the 18 fours.
Ramaroshan's attractions include the dozens of Samthar branches and flowers that blossom here. Birds such as Himalayan monal, Satyr tragopan and Musk deers, Hemitragus can also be seen in Patan.
