World Tourism Day: Indian tourists entering Nepal get  warm welcome at Birgunj border

BIRGUNJ, Sep 27:In the economic city of Birgunj, it marks the 44th World Tourism Day. The hotel and tourism industry in Birgunj, along with the Tourism Police Office, jointly observed the 44th World Tourism Day on this occasion.

On this particular occasion, Indian tourists who entered Nepal through Birgunj's main entrance, Shankaracharya entrance, were greeted with flowers, garlands, food, and curd, a sign of auspicious times.

RK Singh, an Indian traveler who experienced the friendly hospitality of the Nepalese, remarked that this honor was unusual and highly unforgettable for him. Diggambar Kumar, a different Indian traveler, said that he had previously visited Nepal and had returned because he had enjoyed it so much.

The first four Indian visitors arriving in Nepal via the Birgunj pass would receive free lodging, according to Hari Pant, president of the Birgunj Hotel and Tourism Association.
