Thakurbaba Municipality declared a public holiday to celebrate Tourism Day

BARDIA, Sep 27:Today is a public holiday in Thakurbaba Municipality of Bardia to celebrate the 44th World Tourism Day.

The municipality published a notification on Tuesday declaring a public holiday in all municipal offices save the city hospital.

The  municipality has also mandated that all students, teachers, and staff attend the program.

Tourism Day will be observed on Thakurdwara-9 in the organization of Thakurbaba Municipality, Tourism Council, Lumbini, and a public holiday has been declared to emphasize the significance of Tourism Day.

Bardia is becoming a popular tourist attraction in Lumbini province. Thakur Baba's culture and nature have helped it establish its identity all over the world.

As the Bardia district is listed as the 100th Green Destination of the World and the 10th must-see destination in Asia Pacific, the municipality informed that it has been celebrated as a celebration by declaring a public holiday with the goal of spreading its  message and explaining its importance to everyone.

"We are not able to benefit as much as the residents of Bardia should benefit," the municipality explained.

The Bardia National Park is an important tiger habitat. Every year, a rising number of tourists come to observe rare wild animals like as elephants, tigers, and chitals. Because of the park, high-end hotels and homestays have lately opened in Bardia.
