Tourism Minister Kiranti and Mayor Balen collaboration in Pashupati

KATHMANDU, Sep 25:Sudan Kirati, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) will work together on the Pashupati Area Development Trust.

Minister Kirati, the chairman of the Pashupati Area Development Trust, and Balen, the mayor of the city, have agreed to work together to put an end to the irregulated in the Pashupati area. At present, the parking lot at Ban kali under the name of the Pashupati area Development Trust, and the building at Gaushala, which is being used by the Marwari Sewa Samaj, have been prepared for operation under the G2G model.

Tatw Investments secured a 344,874 contract for parking at Ban kali on August 4, 2021. The deal had been canceled due to a difference of 34 lakh 74 thousand one hundred and nine rupees. Similarly, Marwari Sewa Samiti was paying 51,000 per year for a facility-equipped structure on 9 ropani land in Gaushala. The contract for the building, which had been earning lakhs of rupees for commercial use in the name of Dharamshala, has also been revoked by the Pashupati Area Development Fund. Minister Kirati was pressed not to violate the agreement between parking and Dharamshala, but he stood firm in his decision.

According to a source close to Minister Kirati, Gaushala Dharamshala would work with the metropolis to provide efficient services in accordance with Pashupati's master plan. Similarly, parking will be upgraded and operated on a G2G basis.
