Rudra singh Tamang as DG of Department of Immigration

KATHMANDU, Sep 12:Rudra singh Tamang, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been appointed to Director General of the Department of Immigration.

The previous director general Jhalakram Adhikari was drawn into the ministry based on his connections with people involved in gold smuggling.

The new Director General Tamang was working at the National Risk Reduction and Management Authority.
