TAAN Gandaki's 30th AGM concluded

POKHARA, Sep 12:The 30th Annual General Meeting of the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) Gandaki Pradesh was conducted on Sunday, 

Hon'ble Dipendra Bahadur Thapa, the Minister of Industry, Tourism, Forestry, and Environment of Gandaki Province, who was the chief guest at the General Assembly's inaugural session, expressed concern over the predicament of tourism professionals. He admitted that there is a lack of synergy and cooperation between the federal, state, and municipal governments and stated that he would function as a bridge between the federal and local governments.

Pokhara Nepal Tourism Board, acting head of Gandaki province office Navin Pokharel, outgoing chairman of Pokhara Tourism Council Gopi Bahadur Bhattarai, ex-chairman and adviser of TAAN Gandaki Tikaram Sapkota, vice-chairman of TAAN Center spoke at the general meeting.

 All of the speakers expressed their concerns regarding the successful operation of Pokhara International Airport, the speed of Muglin Pokhara road extension and the existing state of affairs, the government's indifference to searching for new destinations, and the confusion around TIMS Card.

TAAN Gandaki President Dharmaraj Panthi presided over the event, which was moderated by General Secretary Tirtharaj Subedi, and the closing speech was delivered by First Vice President Krishna Prasad Acharya. 

Individuals and organizations who assisted TAAN Gandaki at various stages were recognized with letters of thanks during the occasion.
