CAAN installs 'en-route weather' camera in KTM-Lukla Sector

kathmandu, Sep 09:The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has completed the installation of a 'en-route weather' camera in the northeast (KTM-Lukla sector) of Phaplu for safe flight operations in collaboration with the National Innovation Center lead by Mahabir Pun.

Last year, CAAN reached an agreement with the Center to install such a camera. CAAN previously erected such camera in the Jomsom-Pokhara area. Preparations are said to be on to connect to other areas as well.
