Miss Universe Nepal contestants completed Q&A stage

KATHMANDU:The question and answer program between the final 22 contestants of Asian Paints Miss Universe Nepal 2023 has concluded.

During a ceremony held in Kathmandu on Tuesday, the jury answered questions among the final 22 contestants.

Climber Raviraj, Upaul Majumdar, Sun International Managing Director Raviraj Karnikar, Nepal Telecom Chief Commercial Officer Sangeeta Pahadi, Meraki Nepal Founder Director Ayusha Karki Shrestha, Nepal Tourism Board Senior Director Nandini Thapa, and Miss Universe Nepal 2023 Official Choreographer Prashant Tamrakar were among the jury for the initial Q&A session.

They questioned the contestants on how they handled the Miss Universe platform and social, political, economic issues along with societal change.

According to Uddhav Adhikari, director of Umang Creation, the best 10 contestants will be announced in the finale and one winner will be announced from the 22 contestants based on the scores obtained from the question and answer session and the scores obtained by the contestants through voting.

He said that for the past three years Miss Universe has been organized in Choreography with the concept of Prashant Tamrakar and for the fourth year also the contestants have been announced in Tamrakar's choreography.

As the final 22 contestants of Asian Paint Miss Universe, Shitashma Pokharel, Sarosy Neupane, Prarabdhi Gyawali, Prapti Khadka, Sabina Chaudhary, Chanel Shrestha, Prema Lamgade, Pooja Bhagat, Rojina Kafle, Garima Ghimire, Palistha Bajracharya, Amisha Basnet, Sanskriti Chettri Karki, Trishna Baniya, Budhisara Sunar, Puja Paudel, Jane Deepika Garrett, Manita Paswan, Abhilasha Lamsal, Sushma RL Shahi, Alista Subedi, Mausami Shrestha.

The final of 'Asian Paints Miss Universe Nepal 2023' is being held on September 9th at the Godavari Conference Center. Out of the 22 finalists, the winner will represent Nepal at Miss Universe in November at El Salvador.
